STF Cares is a program established to serve the communities where we live and work as well as support STF employees in making a difference. STF Cares takes our mission of bringing Excellence, Ethics, and Engagement to the work we perform every day and applying it to our communities.
STF assisted families affected by the historic flooding in Eastern Kentucky, Southwest Virginia, and West Virginia. STF partnered with a non-profit organization that established warehouses and logistics capabilities to deliver cleaning supplies and essential items to these communities. An Amazon Wish List was established to identify items in need and deliver goods to the central warehouse of the non-profit. As a whole, STF sent over 250 boxes of essential supplies to help in the rebuilding efforts.
Fairy Godmother Project
STF teamed together to support the Fairy Godmother Project (FGP). This non-profit organization supports families with a child facing pediatric cancer. The FGP focuses on helping parents relieve the stress of day-to-day struggles by providing financial and emotional support. STF provided over 80 gifts to three different families ranging from blankets, family games, coloring books, puzzles, restaurant and gas gift cards, and more!

Rena B. Wright Primary School
STF sponsored a family that was in need of Christmas gifts during the holiday season! STF has helped families from Rena B. Wright located in Chesapeake, VA in the past and the support we received from everyone was overwhelming. STF provided gifts ranging from arts and crafts, books, dress-up clothes, stocking stuffers, and more!

Feeding San Diego
STF volunteered with Feeding San Diego. Our volunteers cleaned and packed 1,041 pounds of corn and 1,413 pounds of apples for various programs like the School Pantry Program that serves local San Diegans experiencing hunger. STF also packed approximately 50 boxes of staples for the mobile pantries throughout San Diego County. In addition, STF spearheaded a fundraiser. The generous employees of STF helped donate 5,000 meals for our hungry neighbors.
Operation Smile's Shamrock 8K Miles for Smiles
STF participated in the 40th Anniversary of Operation Smile’s Shamrock 8K Miles for Smiles held in Virginia Beach. Operation Smile provides surgery and dental care for thousands of children each year. Every three minutes, a child is born with a cleft lip or a cleft palate condition. The ultimate goal was to gather 40 runners, each raising $1,000 to contribute to this awesome organization and to kick off the commitment that Operation Smile made for the next 10 years to provide one million surgeries. STF Cares raised $1,765 and the entire Operation Smile Team raised over $36,000.
